1906 Old Town 17 foot canoe

The canoe was purchased by my wife's grandfather in 1906 and was used by him to fish many of the lakes in northern Maine. Subsequent generations paddled the canoe on Kezar Lake and made occasional trips down the Saco River. It has been stored indoors for many years. This canoe has no keel, maple decks, maple thwarts, maple seats, closed spruce gunwales, and spruce outside rails.

NICE 18' CEDAR STRIP CANOE

I have a nice 18' cedar strip canoe, bulit by my father about 35 years ago. It has clear fiberglass over cedar strips with oak gunwales and solid seats with one set of oarlocks. It is in good condition, with minimal wear. It has been used very little over the past 20 years, and is just too large for me and my wife to lift at our advanced ages.

1946 Old Town Sponson Factory Rebuilt

This beautiful canoe was factory rebuilt in 2009. I've had it in the water once on father's day. The factory spokeman gave a fair value at between $10k and 13k. I'm asking less because I need to part with it soon as we are moving to Arizona. Asking price is negotiable. I’m motivated to sell this canoe. Here is a link to a youtube slideshow.

SOLD. Duluth Pack Wanderer - never used

I picked up a Wanderer pack by Duluth, in Navy, to fit behind the seat of my pack canoe. It makes a perfect pack for personal gear and is low slung to help with weight distribution and wind resistance. All that and it was a perfect fit in my canoe!

Early 1930s Skowhegan 18.5' guide's model canoe in excellent condition

For sale is an early 1930s Skowhegan 18.5' guide's model canoe in excellent condition. It was used once on a week long fishing trip on the Pleasant River when new and then put away in my father in law's attic in Spruce Head ME. It was removed from the attic three years ago and is in, I assume, pretty much the same shape as when it was put up there.

Wanted Canoe by "The Spalding St. Lawrence Boat Company"

Wanted, a canoe built by “The Spalding St. Lawrence Boat Company” of Clayton and Ogdensburg, NY.  These canoes and skiffs were made by Spalding between 1893 and 1905 and they usually have a metal shield with the name of the company embossed onto it.  I will consider a restored or original canoe.
