1912 OLD TOWN HW, Grade CS, 17 foot, with build sheet for serial # 19068. Open spruce gunwales, mahogany decks and seats. Beautifully restored in 1990s using a clear West System marine epoxy finish to reveal the beautiful honey color wood planking, in lieu of canvas.

1923 Kennebec Restored Sailing Canoe

Built by the Kennebec Boat and Canoe Co. of Waterville, Maine with Serial # 17421. This 1923 17' canoe is called a “sailing canoe” and has a short full length keel and  a mast step in the event it is desired to add sail, mast and lee boards. The canoe is built along the lines of the “Kineo” model having high sides and stems ( 13” ) and good breadth of beam ( 34” ).

A collector's item in beautiful condition. Rarely used by original owner. Never damaged, recently re-finished. Penn Yan

I have for free, trade, barter or whatever, a Penn Yan cartopper in pretty rough shape. The redeeming quality of this boat is that it has all the original brass hardware that I think would be useful to someone here. There may be a few other parts such as the seats that might be salvaged. The only catch is that you need to take the whole boat in order to get the brass. Thanks Joe

1921 Old Town Otca in AA grade with a full sail rig and sponsons

This 1921 Old Town Otca in AA grade with a full sail rig and sponsons has been donated to the WCHA and is now for sale.  It was fully restored in 2000 by Bryan Wilhelm at a cost of over $6000 and has seen very little use since then.  It has all mahogany trim, a keel, outside stems, a floor rack, and sponsons.  Contact Gordon Smi
