Penn Yan

I have for free, trade, barter or whatever, a Penn Yan cartopper in pretty rough shape. The redeeming quality of this boat is that it has all the original brass hardware that I think would be useful to someone here. There may be a few other parts such as the seats that might be salvaged. The only catch is that you need to take the whole boat in order to get the brass. Thanks Joe

17 ft Morris

I got this in upstate New York several years ago. I took the original canvas off. Some tip rot but nothing major. Seems original and I have all the pieces and most of the screws and nails I took off. The wale caps are broken at the tip. Floor rack and seats are pretty good. Keel is good, took off the bang strips and decks but they are included.

Canoe needs inwales, decks and new canvas. Otherwise it is very solid with a fairly clean interior. Outwales, seats and thwart solid.

Folding Canoe Seat Possibly Old Town

Recently came across this folding canoe seat.  Not sure of the maker or age but it resembles one from an old town catalog image I found in the forums. The only condition issues that I'm seeing is the breaks near the hinge dowel.(see photos).  Looks to be easily repaired.  Happy to provide additional photos if interested.

Restored 1915 Morris Canoe

The price has been set low for this beautifully restored, historic canoe so that it can be saved from being exiled to the desert in Arizona. 1915 construction based on serial #12685 but I am not sure of the model since the original center thwart was not available and had to be replaced. New canvas and filler and Epifanes Mono-Urethane finish.

1942 Old Town Yankee

This canoe was purchased new by my father-in-law back in 1942 from Utica Auto Electric and Boat Service and has been in the family ever since, used by 4 generations.  During summers in the Adirondacks it was kept in a boat house when not in use and during off season, it was stored in a garage.  It has not been used in over 23 years.  The canoe has great sentim

Antique Detroit Boat Co. Canoe

This rare canoe was made by the Detroit Boat Co. during the 1910-1912 period.  It is a Hudson River model.  Careful and complete restoration was done in 2004-2005.  We had this displayed, suspended from the ceiling in our log cabin.  We recently moved, and unfortunately do not have the space for it.  It is a beautiful canoe!

Wood Canoe for Free

I have an old canoe that may be of interest to the boat builders. It was bought 2nd hand in the early 1930s, so predates that time frame. I used it from the late 40s through the early 70s. I don’t know if it is worthy of being rebuilt, but if so, I’d rather give it to one who would do so and who appreciates old canoes.

Pictures available upon request.

1940 Old Town 13' 50 lb canoe 129097 SOLD!!!

Canoe is in good restorable condition.  There aren't a lot of shorter, lightweight canoes around.

I purchased this boat as a rescue - so that someone else could restore it, I have a 15' Old Town 50 lb canoe that I restored and love it.

sailing rig, needs work

Old sailing rig, needs work. Barn find, my barn. Two Masts boken on bottom, needs new sail, battons are in there. If I did more sailing canoes I'd keep these, but I never seem to do any.  No rudder, I might be able to find a couple of lee boards . Dave

1919 Old Town Charles River Canoe

This canoe has been in my family since the 40s. No one uses it any more so it needs to find a new home.

I have the original paddles and back rest. The hull needs painting, otherwise the canoe is in excellent shape.

The trailer in the picture is not included.
